Look in Destiny, the PLHS Library’s online catalog that lets you browse the titles that we have on our physical shelves.

Books at your Public Library

Don’t forget that you have the right to a card at your public library. All of the public library consortia in our area have subscriptions to additional online resources on top of their collection of books. Choose the consortium to which you belong from the links below.

Pompton Lakes residents should use PALS Plus. Riverdale Students should use the MAIN lib link below. See the librarian if you aren’t sure which consortium is yours or if you need information about obtaining a public library card.

EBSCO eBook Collection

We now have over 150,000 eBook titles at our disposal! These are mostly nonfiction books that you can use for research projects.
Follow these instructions to browse:

  1. Click the link above
  2. Login (see Ms. Quiles for login information)
  3. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and check the TWO boxes that say eBooks
  4. Click continue
  5. Search as usual
